When I hired Matt to build my deck I was concerned with longevity and structure. When Matt finished, it had become an art work. Every small detail, every nuance, was thought out and then put together with fantastic craftsmanship, to the point where visitors to our home always comment about how nice it is.

Matt also showed up on time, finished on time, let us know of any problems and changes in a timely professional manner and got it done on budget. Matt was also fantastic with my 6 year old son, who barraged him with constant questions of the why and how. The result, a new deck and a son who can fix things!

“The works … Can’t say enough great things.”

We used Rhodes Creations for our 650 square foot addition near Capitol Hill, which included retrofitting our 100 year old foundation/construction to the new addition, wiring, plumbing, framing, roofing, the works. They were budget friendly, pleasant to work with, and kept to their time frame. They did extensive excavation, and worked well with our geotech engineer and architect. These guys also did a whole-house remodel for a friend of mine in Ballard, and they were equally pleased.

Matt, the owner, ensured that all of the subcontractors working at our house were very professional, which was important to us with three small children at home during the day with the nanny. He was available whenever we needed to talk to him and provided structure to the project and regular checkpoints.

Above all, he listened to what we wanted and patiently changed direction a couple of times when we changed our minds. I can’t say enough great things about this guy.
