How do you install a climbing wall?
Same as we complete all our projects: Very carefully.
Although Rhodes Creations finishes all our projects with attention to detail, one recent remodel was especially unique. The homeowners were avid climbers, and a multi-story entry space presented them with a unique opportunity. They called on Rhodes Creations to transform their foyer into an indoor climbing wall.
The installation covered a large interior wall with Rockwerx modular panels. An existing hallway (providing access to storage space and a downstairs room) required that panels be cut to fit. The need for scaffolding and the critical importance of proper anchor installation made it an easy choice to hire a contractor.
Many remodels add resale value to a home — but they also add value in terms of day-to-day and year-to-year utility and happiness. And because a home climbing wall affords years of rainy-day and after-work recreation, this is one project with major value for any die-hard climber.
